This is the case of a young woman presenting with rectal neoplasia at 6cm from the anal verge. Surgery occurs 8 weeks after radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Following adnexectomy, resection of the rectum is performed along with total mesorectal excision. Surgical specimens are extracted after vaginal opening. Histology reveals the presence of a ypT3N1a M0 tumor. The patient is on chemotherapy.
