For the first time in the IRCAD advanced course of thoracoscopic major pulmonary resections, a place has been given to pediatric surgery. Professor Becmeur, chairman of the pediatric surgery department in Strasbourg’s University Hospital, reports his impressive experience with advanced thoracoscopic procedures in children and even neonates, ranging from esophageal atresia to lobectomy for pulmonary malformation. Some of these amazing techniques deserve to be known by adult thoracic surgeons.
