CME Credits

1. Participation in each of the self-study activities should be completed in approximately 0.5 to 1 hour. To successfully complete one activity and receive credit, participants must follow these steps during the period from November 8, 2010 through November 8, 2012 for the 4 lectures and 4 videos.
   
   
2. Make sure that you have provided all the necessary data and your date of birth on the registration form. WebSurg and the EACCME Secretariat of the UEMS require this information in order to grant credit and issue a certificate. If you have not provided this information, please click here.
   
   
3. Review the learning objectives.
   
   
4. The e-learning activity can only be taken once in a year. Please make sure that you have thoroughly studied the activity before you take the Multiple Choice Questionnaire(s).
   
   
5. Read and participate in the educational activity online.
   
   
6. Read, complete, and submit the answers to the posttest questions online. Participants must receive a test score of at least 80% and respond to the evaluation questions in order to receive credit and a certificate.
   
   
7. A transcript or CME log monitors the completed educational activities on WebSurg.
   
   
8. When you are finished, please click "submit".
   
   

Certificates

A "certificate" is defined as a record of successful completion of the CME activity. For information on applicability and acceptance of continuing education credit for this activity, please consult your professional licensing boards.

EACCME Credits

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
The delivery of the certificate of attendance is linked to the completion of an evaluation form and self-evaluation test. The CME provider has defined the criteria for passing the test.

EACCME Credits convertible into AMA PRA category 1 Credits™

EACCME approved credits for e-learning activities are recognized by the American Medical Association for conversion to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians may apply to convert EACCME credits into AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ by submitting the following form and attaching an EACCME credit certificate, and processing fee. Processing fees directly payable to the American Medical Association are as follows: AMA member $30 and non-AMA member $75 (see information stated in application form).

As a rule, the conversion to AMA category 1 credit(s)™ is 1:1 for all EACCME credit(s).
